Our policy in plain English

We stand behind every Astro 360. If something goes wrong, we want to make it right. This policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations work — including specific rules for pre-orders.

Pre-order cancellations

Because the Astro 360 is currently sold on pre-order, you have the right to cancel your order at any time before it ships and receive a full refund — no questions asked. To cancel, email astrobuddiesllc@gmail.com with your order number. Refunds for cancelled pre-orders will be processed within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method.

If we are unable to ship within 30 days of the estimated ship date (currently June 30, 2026) and have not provided you with a revised estimate that you accept, you may cancel your order for a full refund under the FTC Mail Order Rule (16 CFR §435).

Returns after delivery

You may return any Astro 360 within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund or exchange, subject to the following conditions:

  • The product must be in its original packaging
  • The product must be unused, undamaged, and complete with all included accessories (LED battery set, sheath, quick-start guide)
  • You must email astrobuddiesllc@gmail.com first to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions

Returns received without an RMA number may be refused or delayed.

How to start a return

  1. Email astrobuddiesllc@gmail.com with your order number, the reason for return, and (if applicable) photos
  2. We'll respond within one business day with an RMA number and return shipping instructions
  3. Pack the product securely in its original packaging
  4. Ship it back using the carrier we specify

Return shipping costs

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect product: We pay return shipping and provide a prepaid label.
  • Change of mind / no longer needed: You pay return shipping. We recommend a trackable, insured method.

Refund processing

Once your return is received and inspected (usually within 3–5 business days of delivery to our warehouse), we'll notify you by email and issue your refund to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days of processing.

Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange for a different color or replacement unit (when available), let us know in your return request. We'll process the exchange as soon as we receive your returned item.

Defective products

If your Astro 360 arrives defective or develops a defect within the first 30 days due to a manufacturing issue, we will replace it free of charge or issue a full refund at your option. Beyond 30 days, our limited 1-year manufacturer warranty applies — see the Terms of Service for details.

Non-returnable items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following are not eligible for return:

  • Products that have been used on a live animal
  • Products with missing parts or accessories
  • Products that have been visibly damaged through misuse, accident, or neglect
  • Gift cards and digital downloads

Items returned in these conditions may be refused or refunded at a reduced amount at our reasonable discretion.

Lost packages and chargebacks

If your package is lost in transit, contact us before initiating a chargeback. We'll work with the carrier to locate it or send a replacement. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in your future orders being declined.

Refunds in exceptional circumstances

We may, at our reasonable discretion, issue a refund outside the policy above where required by applicable consumer-protection law. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your statutory rights under applicable U.S. federal or state law.
